Warhammer Colour Base: Iron Warriors 12ml

Iron Warriors is a darker, gunmetal-leaning steel a touch grimier than a bright silver, which makes it spot-on for war-torn armour, tanks and the Iron Warriors Legion it’s named for. Opaque metallic coverage in a coat or two, ready to take a wash straight away.

Best for

• Laying a solid, opaque metallic foundation in one or two coats
• Blocking in war-torn armour, tanks and heavy machinery
• Taking a shade wash straight over the top for instant depth

Hit it with a shade and it drops straight into convincing, battle-worn metal no fuss.

A shade wash straight over the top and you’re into gritty, used metal. Follow it with a shade to grime it up, round out your base paints, and grab a brush.
