Tamiya Modelling Scissors For Photo Etch

Cutting photo-etched parts with a knife is a fiddly, part-bending nightmare these scissors put an end to it. Tamiya designed them specifically for photo-etch, with sharply pointed tips that reach into the narrowest joints and cut clean without deforming those delicate metal fragments.

Why it’s good

• Purpose-built for fragile photo-etch fret work
• Prevents the accidental bends a knife causes
• A workbench essential for detail-focused builders

If you’re adding photo-etch to your kits, the right tool turns a dreaded job into an easy one.

Photo-etch, minus the frustration. Pair with a cutting mat and fine tweezers for handling those tiny parts.
