Battlefields & Basing: Fine Coal

Industrial yards, railway sidings and grim frontline positions all call for the dark grit of coal. Part of War World Scenics’ Battlefields & Basing range, this fine coal is a scenic texture that adds convincing dark aggregate to bases, terrain and dioramas.

Best for

• Industrial, railway and mining scenes
• Adding dark contrast against grass and sand
• Gritty, grounded bases for a war-torn look

A pinch of fine coal is a quick way to add depth and grime the sort of detail that makes a base look built rather than bought.

Dark grit for an industrial edge. Pair it with PVA glue and some rubble or cork for layered groundwork.
