Army Painter Colour Primer – Desert Yellow (400ml)

Army Painter’s Desert Yellow primer was originally mixed for WWII desert vehicles and uniforms, but this warm sandy yellow has long since escaped the battlefield scenery, horses, Beastmen, Skaven and pale timber all take to it. Undercoat and basecoat sorted in a single pass, ready for a wash to do the rest.

Why it’s good

• Matt finish, colour-matched to the Warpaints range for touch-ups
• Primes and basecoats sandy, earthy schemes fast
• Even coverage that preserves fine detail
• Doubles as a warm skin base on exposed flesh

Perfect for batch-painting a desert force without your painting arm dropping off.

A warm sand basecoat in seconds. Follow up with a Basecoating Brush and a Strong Tone wash to bring the depth out.
