AK Interactive – OIF & OEF – US Vehicles Weathering Set (AK120)

Modern US armour from Iraq and Afghanistan has become as popular a subject as any WWII Panzer, and this AK Interactive set is built to finish it properly. A 3rd Generation acrylic base colour in FS 33446 desert tan sits alongside a wash and a streaking product, taking a bare kit to a dusty, sun-bleached, hard-worked finish in a few passes.

What’s in the box

• A 3rd Generation acrylic base colour in FS 33446 desert tan
• A dedicated wash for panel lines and recesses
• A streaking effects product for vertical dirt and grime runs

Best for

• Modern US vehicles from Iraq and Afghanistan-era service
• Dust, grime and sun-bleaching over a desert scheme
• Any modern subject already painted in FS 33446 tan

Base, wash, streak three steps and a bare kit looks like it’s been baking on desert roads for months rather than fresh out of the box.
