The American light bomber and ground attack aircraft A-20 Havoc, along with its Commonwealth-operated Boston variant, ranked among the most important aircraft of this category in World War II.
They saw service in nearly every theater of operations.
To fulfill the role of low-level ground attack, they were often modified to carry machine guns in the forward fuselage, creating the so-called gunship versions.
